Burntisland is a small seaside town situated approx. 8 miles east of the Forth Road Bridge on the A921. Burntisland is approximately 35 minutes from Edinburgh and 40 minutes along the coast from St Andrews.

It is an ideal base for touring central Scotland with Perth and Stirling being only 40 minutes drive away. 

Free maps of Edinburgh city centre are available along with train time-tables for a stress free trip to the capital.

Historic:

Edinburgh, our capital city has one of the most dramatic settings in the world, with the medieval old town and its classical Georgian new town. (30 minutes)

St. Andrews, Home of Golf and Scotlands first University, also has lovely big sandy beaches. (40 minutes)

Dunfermline, Ancient Capital of Scotland for over 500 years with Abbey and Palace. (20 minutes)

Falkland Palace, favourite hunting lodge of the Stuart Kings and Mary Queen of Scots. (30 minutes) 

Culross, 17th Century Village . (30 minutes)

Golf, 40 golf courses in Fife , from Links , Parkland and Heathland ranging in standard up to championship courses. Bookings and more details can be made through us.

Take it easy and meander up through The East Neuk of Fife, with all its fishing villages of Crail , Anstruther and Pittenweem who still have a strong link with sea fishing , enjoy the quaint harbours and taste the freshly caught produce.

Archery, Clay pigeon shooting, horse riding , sea and loch fishing , water sports, boat trips and Scotlands only Motor Sport circuit at Knockhill are all available at close proximity.

Other attractions include cruises to Inchcolm Abbey (The Iona of the East) on the River Forth, The Anstruther Fisheries Museum, The Secret Bunker and Deep Sea World.
