Accommodation

Our Bed and Breakfast accommodation has two bedrooms which have been decorated to a high standard, with many thoughtful personal touches and each has a private en-suite shower room.

The upstairs twin bedded room has open views from the bay window, over the River Forth to the Edinburgh skyline and surrounding coast. Binoculars are available for use to study the river traffic, the bird life or Edinburgh skyline.

The ground floor double bedded room, with its high ceiling and antique furniture, is relaxing and spacious and looks out onto the walled garden.

Breakfast is served in the conservatory, within the colourful garden. Amongst the shrubbery and plants the garden contains unusual and very large driftwood sculptures and many other seaside treasures all of which have been recovered locally.

The extensive breakfast menu offers a variety of dishes to suit all tastes including the 'traditional' Scottish Breakfast. One of the alternatives offered on the menu is hot pancake filled with fresh fruit.

Breakfasts are made using fresh local produce where possible.
All preserves and bread are homemade on the premises.
With a little advance warning special diets can easily be catered for.

In the evening a gentle stroll from Gruinard gives the choice of two hotels serving excellent evening meals in an informal atmosphere.

Guests are welcome to relax, read or write postcards in the conservatory, garden or in the lounge in the evening after a busy day.

For guests arriving by bike we have secure indoor storage.
